Irrespective of denominations, many Kyushu churches started to work together to help bring relief and support to the affected areas. Hakata New Life Church is involved in this work, and plans to continue helping in any way it can for the foreseeable future.

The support system of the Kyushu churches was unified into the Kyushu Christ Disaster Relief Center (K.C.D.R). Transportation and distribution of relief supplies to K.C.D.R. was carried out on April 20, 2016.
